Larry grew up in Idaho. He gained a deep appreciation for the beauty found in nature along the pristine streams and in the mountains and valleys of the Rocky Mountains.

Larry's interest in art began when he was very young, he never considered anything other than a career in art. He graduated with a M.F.A degree from Utah State University in 1965.

Early in his career he became a very accomplished designer/illustrator and art director. During his illustration career his work appeared in many national and international publications. Larry's desire to express his feelings about life and nature through his fine art were always most important to him. He eventually left the commercial field to develop his masterful impressionistic and realistic painting styles.

His work can be found in many private and corporate collections. His originals and prints are available in several premier fine art galleries throughout the United States.
